Jeni Robertson

“I have been painting, learning about and appreciating art for 30 years.  Formal training commenced at the Ashton Art School in the Rocks, under the guidance of Richard Ashton, and his plein air classes.”

Inspiration comes from artists including Peter Doig, Chagall, Turner, and Cezanne.

“I moved to the Middle East in 1989 for 8 years which inspired me to look at other mediums and styles and to enter competitions and exhibitions where I was awarded a number of prizes.”

Since returning to Australia in 1996, I have studied with:

Design at Art Focus Gallery, Brookvale,

Mitchell School of Arts, Sturt University, Bathurst,

Larissa Blake, and

Pina Bortelo, Life Drawing
